Healthcare Reform
Today was definitely a historic day, even if you don't agree with the bill that was passed. You still have to step back and admire what took place. This has been the works long before I was born. So many before President Obama, tried to do what was done today with no avail.

Would You Elect a Pole Dancer?
Lately I have been on a quest to read news not only from America or American Journalists but broaden my horizon in what I pay attention to.. However this article struck me as quite odd for two reasons. 1. Didn't know Australia had a political "Sex Party" 2. Not sure how voting a feminist pole dancer into office is going to " restore a historical imbalance of male protagonist politicians in the Sydney electorate." as the article states

Kill Them With Kindness
It's tough right now in the workforce. You have people loosing their jobs left and right. Families having to abandon their homes and human beings are suffering. But as the old saying goes, Misery loves company. There is so much back biting and spreading of rumors. I feel like I am back in High School with all the he said, she said mess going around. I however choose to rise above it. I have to, this is what I have taught my children when they deal with jealous immature individuals. I tell them ignore it and keep moving forward. So here, now that I am faced with these same challenges, I must say what I mean and mean what I say. This is the perfect time for me to be a living example and put what I say into practice. So I am going to "Kill them with kindness" as my mother taught me. I will remain sweet and kind, reflecting God and his love. They can choose to deal however they choose, but that will be between them and their God.

Sexting among Teenagers a crime?
I read this article and viewed the video that I have embedded below. I am on the fence with this issue. Although I realize that this is a crime by the law standards and one must abide by the law. I have issue when it is apart of a relationship and two people who are in said relationship send pictures to each other. That to me is a private matter that should be dealt with by the individuals parents. Come on what is the difference from our generation where we took risque pictures and gave them to our significant others at the time. If the police had for whatever reason came across those pictures would that have been considered "child pornography"? That was definitely not what it was meant for? So I think there needs to be an alternative rather than labeling children as Sex Offenders for the rest of their life. This label is incorrect for teenagers who are being teenagers. This will cause them not to be able to get jobs, live in certain neighbors, etc...

Ultimate Forgiveness
Could you be so forgiving? Could you forgive someone who spewed so much hatred? Someone who basically tortured you for the color of your skin? Do you even believe that some one could have a change of heart? Well when I read this article that my friend sent to me, the story of Saul now Paul came to mine. Paul's Conversion was nothing less than a miracle that I believe is still possible today.
One man's ambivalent retreat from his racist past
So how different is it when you compare the two stories today? Please comment..

You Think You Have it Bad.
Everyday I get these emails from veryshortlist.com. They send me random interesting information very compacted. Well I haven't been reading them as much as when I first started, but today it included a article about downsizing. This is not what you would expect. What would you do if you had to live in a 100 sq foot apartment? Michael Wolf photographed residents in their flats in Hong Kong's oldest public housing estate:
100 rooms,each 100 square feet in size.

When you view this, you realize, at least I realize.. I really have nothing to complain about. I am truly blessed.
